Remy Martin Video Booth

SITUATION:
The first clear spirit from the House Of Rémy Martin” was released in September 2010 as Rémy Martin V (pronounced “eve”). Select nightclubs and premium liquor stores in Atlanta and the Bay Area were part of the initial launch. The nation wide roll out will happen in 2011. While not technically a Cognac it is a very young Brandy. The transparent spirit is ideal for mixing in cocktails.

Mixologist Charles Hardwick used Rémy Martin V to create five signature cocktails.


CHALLENGE:
Get Atlanta and Bay Area club goers to try and embrace the new spirit from Rémy Martin. Use video to have advocates spread the word via the web site and social channels (Facebook & Twitter).

SOLUTION:
Lure Industries created a web 3.0 video booth using both the iPhone4 and the iPad 3GS.

All six booths were configured with an iPhone4 (for the camera), strobe lights, and an LCD screen. An iPad was used to control the video capture via blue tooth with the iPhone4. The iPad App gathered/captured information from participants and uploaded everything to a cloud-based web service. The client used the web service to approve and delete videos. A 3rd party social media partner pulled the videos down to post within Facebook.
